<p>Members of this very narrowly defined protein are active as rhodanese (<db_xref db="EC" dbkey="2.8.1.1"/>) and are found in extended variants of the phage shock protein (psp operon) in <taxon tax_id="562">Escherichia coli</taxon> and a few closely related species.
